WHO WE ARE
CortlandMusic, Inc. (CMI) is a volunteer organization that provides promotional, educational, organizational and technical support, primarily for local musicians, with an emphasis on classical, international and “other” music. This effort began with our first Classical Music Festival on February 13, 2005 and there have been three to four festivals each year since that time. CortlandMusic was incorporated as a nonprofit in 2009.

CortlandMusic, Inc. promotes the performance and appreciation of music for the benefit of the public focusing primarily on musical styles and groups that are underrepresented in the community. CMI designs and implements a balanced music program that provides opportunities for performers at many skill levels, from students through experienced professionals .

CortlandMusic, INC is a multi-cultural organization that provides promotional support for local schools, young and local musicians at large, with an emphasis on classical, international, and "other" music. We have extended our community involvement with other art mediums and new programs, such as our Musical Arts Institute and SikoraArts Gallery.

Our organization presents at least eight music events a year: Two Music Festivals, Salon, Master Classes, Lecture- performances and a Classical Guitar Nights.
